மண்டூகம் என்றால் தவளை. இந்த ஆசனம் செய்யும் போது உடல் தவளை போன்ற அமைப்பில் உள்ளதால் இதற்கு மண்ணடூகாசனம் என்ற பெயர் வந்தது.

மண்டூகாசனம் எப்படி செய்வது?

முதலில் தரையில் குப்புற படுத்துக் கொண்டு மூச்சை நன்கு இழுத்து வெளி விட வேண்டும். பிறகு இரண்டு கைகளையும் பின் பக்கமாக கொண்டு சென்று வைத்துக்கொள்ள வேண்டும். பிறகு இரண்டு கால்களையும் மடக்கி குதிகால்களை தொடைகளுக்கு அருகே கொண்டு வரவும். பின்பு வலது உள்ளங்கையை வலது பாதத்தின் மேற்புறத்திலும், இடது உள்ளங்கையை இடது பாதத்தின் மேற்புறத்திலும், வைக்க வேண்டும். இந்த நிலையில் மூச்சை வெளிவிட்டபடி தலையையும், மார்பையும் மேல் நோக்கி உயர்த்தி குதிகால்களைத் தரையை நோக்கி நன்கு அழுத்தவும். முடிந்தால் குதிகால்களைத் தரையில் தொடும்படி செய்யவும்.

இரண்டு முழங்கால்களுக்கு இடையே உள்ள இடைவெளி முடிந்த அளவுக்கு குறைக்கவும்.

Paul Walker’s Cause Of Death Revealed

Since the tragic death of Paul Walker many have speculated the initial cause of his death. Now it’s being reported that the L.A. County Coroner’s Office has completed their examination via dental records for both Walker, and his friend, Roger Rodas, who was driving the 2005 Porsche Carrera GT.

The L.A. County Coroner’s Office has released a statement in regards to the tragic crash that took the lives of actor Paul Walker, and his friend, Roger Rodas. Walker, 40, passed away due to a “combination of traumatic and thermal injuries.”

According to the statement, Walker did not die by the impact of the crash, and is believed to have been alive for a few seconds. It’s said that ultimately the fire caused by the impact was the cause of death. In the case of Roger Rodas, 38, the driver died on impact from severe injuries, and fire was not listed as a factor in his death.

It’s said that toxicology results will not be in for the two men until six to eight weeks, although the Medical Examiner has ruled that the deaths of Walker and his friend were accidental.

As for the event surrounding the accident, the two men were winding down after a charity event for Walker’s ROWW organization when they decided to take the red 2005 Porsche Carrera GT out for a test drive. According to Walker and Rodas’ mutual friend, Jim Torp, the two were not drag racing and were testing out a problem with the car that the two were trying to diagnose.

Shortly they left the garage, tragedy struck. According to Torp, smoke was visible from Always Evolving Performance Motors, which was the shop Rodas owned, and is around the corner from the crash site. Although many of their friends tried to get them out of the car, there was nothing that could be done. In addition, initial reports that said Walker’s 15-year-old daughter Meadow was on site at the time are false.

Paul Walker’s family has made an official statement on his public Facebook that has amassed to 12 million likes:

“Paul Walker’s family appreciates the outpouring of love and goodwill from his many fans and friends. They have asked, in lieu of flowers or other gifts, that donations please be made to Paul’s charity Reach Out Worldwide (ROWW). மண்ணை சாப்பிடும் விசித்திர மனிதன்..!

நாளுக்கு நாள் மண் திண்ணும் ஆர்வம் அதிகரித்து வருகிறதே தவிர குறையவில்லை’ என, ஒரு நாளைக்கு அரை கிலோ மண்ணை சாப்பிடும் காய்கறி கடை வியாபாரி கூறினார். விழுப்புரம் மாவட்டம் தியாகதுருகத்தைச் சேர்ந்த வாலி மகன் கோபி(25); காய்கறி வியாபாரி.

 மூன்று வயதில் மண்ணை சாப்பிட ஆரம்பித்தவர் தற்போது 25 வயதிலும் மண் சாப்பிட்டு வருகிறார். இடையில் களிமண், ஆற்று மணல் போன்றவற்றையும் ருசித்து சாப்பிட்டு வருகிறார். தினமும் அரை கிலோவுக்கு மேலாக மண்ணை உணவாக உட்கொள்கிறார்.

 எப்போது பார்த்தாலும் இவர் பேண்ட் பாக்கெட்களில் குறைந்த பட்சம் கால் கிலோவிற்கு மண்ணை சேமித்து வைத்து நாள் முழுவதும் சாப்பிட்டு வருகிறார். மணலை சாப்பிடும் போது மணலில் பெரிய கற்கள் இருந்தால் மட்டும் முடிவில் அவற்றை கீழே துப்பிவிடுகிறார்.

 ஏரி களி மண்ணை மிகவும் விரும்பி சாப்பிடுகிறார். இது குறித்து அவர் கூறுகையில், “சிறு வயதில் இருந்து மண்ணை உணவாக சாப்பிடும் பழக்கம் உள்ளது. சிறு வயதில் குறைவான மண்ணை சாப்பிட்டு வந்தேன். பின், தினமும் அதிகமான மண்ணை சாப்பிட்டு வருகிறேன்.

டெல்லியில் ஆட்சி அமைக்க காங்கிரஸ் ஆதரவு தர தயார் என அறிவித்துள்ள நிலையில், கூட்டணி அமைக்க ஆம் ஆத்மி ஒருங்கிணைப்பாளர் அரவிந்த் கெஜ்ரிவால் 18 நிபந்தனைகள் விதித்துள்ளார்.

இன்று காலை டெல்லி துணை நிலை ஆளுநரை சந்தித்த பின் செய்தியாளர்களை சந்தித்த அவர் டெல்லியில் ஆட்சி அமைப்பது தொடர்பாக முடிவு எடுக்க 10 நாட்கள் அவகாசம் கோரியுள்ளதாக தெரிவித்தார்.

இதற்கிடையே கூட்டணிக்கு சம்மதிக்க வேண்டுமானால் இந்த 18 நிபந்தனைகளுக்கு காங்கிரஸ் ஒத்து வர வேண்டும் என்று கேஜ்ரிவால் கூறி இருக்கிறார்.

சிங்கப்பூர் கலவரம் : நடந்தது என்ன..?

சிங்கப்பூரின் லிட்டில் இந்தியா பகுதியில் ஞாயிற்றுக் கிழமை நடைபெற்ற கலவரத்துக்குப் பிறகு இப்போது அமைதி திரும்பியுள்ளது. கலவரம் தொடர்பில் 27 பேர் கைது செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளனர்.

தனியார் பேருந்தின் கீழ் சிக்கிய 33 வயதான இந்தியர் ஒருவர் உயிரிழந்ததைத் தொடர்ந்து அங்கே வன்முறை வெடித்தது.

சுமார் 400 வெளிநாட்டு பணியாளர்கள், தெருவில் இறங்கி கற்களை வீசித் தாக்கினர். காவல்துறை வாகனங்களை தீ வைத்து எரித்தனர். ஒரு அம்புலன்சும் எரிக்கப்பட்டது. இந்த தாக்குதல்களில் 18 பேர் காயமடைந்தனர். இதில் பெரும்பாலானோர் காவல்துறை அதிகாரிகள்.

இதுபோன்றதொரு வன்முறைச் சம்வம் சிங்கப்பூரில் கடந்த 30 ஆண்டுகளில் நடந்திருக்கவில்லை என்று சிங்கப்பூர் காவல்துறை ஆணையர் கூறியுள்ளார்.

கலவரம் நடந்த பகுதியில் காவல்துறையினர் தெருவில் இறங்கி வன்முறைகளில் ஈடுபடுவோருக்கு 7 ஆண்டுகள் வரை சிறை தண்டனை அளிக்க சிங்கப்பூர் சட்டம் வழி செய்கிறது. இது தவிற அப்படிச் செய்யும் நபர்களுக்கு கசையடியும் கிடைக்கும்.

கலவரத்துக்கு காரணமானோர் மீது கடுமையான நடவடிக்கை எடுக்கப்படும் என்று சிங்கப்பூர் பிரதமர் தெரிவித்துள்ளார்.

அங்குள்ள சூழல் குறித்து சிங்கப்பூர் அதிகாரிகளுடன் தான் தொடர்ந்து தொடர்பில் இருப்பதாக இந்திய தூதரகம் தெரிவித்துள்ளது. பாதிக்கப்பட்ட மக்களுக்கு அனைத்து உதவிகளும் அளிக்கப்படும் என்றும் தூதரகத்தின் அறிக்கை தெரிவித்துள்ளது.

இன்று ‘கெடு’ முடிந்தது: காரில் சீட்பெல்ட் அணியாதவர்களை எச்சரித்து அனுப்பிய போலீசார்

சென்னையில் காரின் முன் இருக்கையில் அமர்ந்து செல்பவர்கள் இன்று (9–ந்தேதி) முதல் கட்டாயம் ‘சீட் பெல்ட்’ அணிந்திருக்க வேண்டும் என்று போக்குவரத்து போலீசார் உத்தரவு பிறப்பித்து இருந்தனர்.

சீட் பெல்ட் அணியாமல் இருப்பவர்களுக்கு ரூ.100 அபராதம் விதிக்கப்படும் எனவும், அதே நபர் 2–வது முறை பிடிபட்டால் ரூ,300 அபராதம் வசூலிக்கப்படும் எனவும் அறிவிக்கப்பட்டு இருந்தது.

இதுதொடர்பாக கடந்த 3 வாரங்களாக போலீசார் பல்வேறு விழிப்புணர்வு பிரசாரங்களில் ஈடுபட்டனர்.

இந்த நிலையில் இன்று காலை மெரீனா கடற்கரை, அண்ணாநகர் உள்பட நகரின் பல்வேறு பகுதிகளில் போக்குவரத்து போலீசார் கண்காணிப்பில் ஈடுபட்டனர்.
அப்போது ஏராளமான வாகனங்களில் முன் இருக்கையில் அமர்ந்து இருந்தவர்கள் சீட் பெல்ட் அணியாமல் இருந்தது தெரிந்தது.

அந்த வாகனங்களை போலீசார் தடுத்து நிறுத்தி சீட் பெல்ட் அணிவது குறித்து அவர்களிடம் அறிவுரை கூறினர். மேலும் இதனால் விதிக்கப்படும் அபராதம் குறித்து எச்சரித்தனர். பல டிரைவர்களுக்கு போக்குவரத்து போலீசாரே சீட் பெல்டுகளை மாட்டி விட்டனர்.

இன்று முதல் நாள் என்பதால் வாகனங்களில் சீட் பெல்ட் அணியாமல் வந்தவர்களுக்கு அபராதம் விதிக்கப்படவில்லை. எச்சரிக்கை மட்டும் விடுக்கப்பட்டது.

24 Indians arrested in Singapore after riots, PM orders probe

SINGAPORE: Twenty-seven South Asian workers, including 24 Indians, were arrested today for alleged rioting in Singapore as its Prime Minister ordered a probe into the country's worst outbreak of violence in over 40 years.

Besides the Indians, two Bangladeshis and one Singapore permanent resident, whose origin was not known, were also arrested for last night's rioting, triggered by a road accident that killed an Indian worker.

At least 18 people, including 10 policemen, were injured when some 400 people attacked the police and damaged 16 vehicles in an Indian district here, police said.

The trouble started after a private bus fatally knocked down an Indian pedestrian, 33-year-old Sakthivel Kuaravelu, around 9:20pm at the junction of Race Course Road and Hampshire Road in Little India, a precinct of Indian-origin businesses, eateries and pubs where most of the South Asian workers take their Sunday break, they said.

All the 27 arrested are in the age-group of 23-45 and face charges under "rioting with dangerous weapons", punishable by up to seven years in prison as well as caning.

The Indian High Commission in Singapore said it was calling on all parties to remain calm following the riot.

"We understand the situation is under control and Singapore authorities have appealed for maintaining calm by all sections of society. We hope all parties will maintain calm," said the High Commission in a statement.

High Commissioner Vijay Thakur Singh said the High Commission was in constant touch with the Singapore authorities to ascertain the facts of the incidents.

Singh said the High Commission would inform the next of kin of Kumaravelu.

Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong conveyed his deepest condolences to the family of Kuaravelu and ordered a probe into the incident.

"I also offer my deepest condolences to the family of Mr Sakthivel Kumaravelu, who was killed in the traffic accident that preceded the riot.

"I have directed the Ministry of Home Affairs to convene a Committee of Inquiry (COI) to look into this serious incident. The COI will look into the factors that led to the incident and how the incident was handled on the ground," Lee said in a statement.

He said the riot was a very grave incident and his government would "spare no effort to identify the culprits and deal with them with the full force of the law."

Singapore previously witnessed violence of this scale during race riots in 1969.

Pinterest Is Gaining Ground on Facebook and Twitter for News

When it comes to sharing news online, Facebook and Twitter get most of the attention. Pinterest, a platform more traditionally known for retail, food and travel-related postings, is gaining ground in the news category as well.
A new study from Gigya, a social login provider for many media companies, including ABC, NBC, and FOX, found that 20% of all "media/publishing"-related content shared to social networks in Q3 was shared on Pinterest. Facebook (40%) and Twitter (30%) maintained leads in the category, but Pinterest gained some ground after accounting for 18% of media and publishing shares in Q2.
A social share means that a user utilized a page's share plugin or clicked on the "share" button, which is often located near the top of the page. Thus, Gigya's data does not include instances where users share by copy and paste. The company has more than 700 clients, including Gannett and Hearst, so the data incorporates a significant sample size.
Many now get their news on social networks. A Pew Research study released in October found that 30% of U.S. adults find their news on Facebook. Gigya's data was released just a few days after Facebook announced changes to its News Feed algorithm in an attempt to surface more "high quality" content for users.
Pinterest also made changes in September to encourage users to upload article pins. Articles posted to the site now include more details like the title, author and short description of the article.
